What age can you do treatments from?Treatments can be done from age 18, or with parent/guardian consent if under 18.

What method do you use?The treatment to remove/reduce skin lesions is done through advanced electrolysis, which is a form of heat diathermy that uses a small needle with a current running through it to destroy the targeted cells.

Do I have to apply 'Emla' cream before my appointment?We recommend purchasing the numbing cream 'Emla' to help with any discomfort. If using 'Emla', please apply thickly to the area(s) (but not near the eyes or gentials) one hour before your appointment and cover with a plaster. Ensure to wash your hands after.

Can I have a treatment done if I'm pregnant?Unfortunately, no. We cannot treat you during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Why can't I know the price of the treatment before I book an appointment?The approximate treatment cost will be discussed at the time of consultation. Price of treatment varies depending on skin lesion type, quantity, size, and time taken. Any remaining balance will be paid on the day of the treatment.

Why can't I book an appointment before a holiday?Healing time is approximately 4-6 weeks but everyone’s body heals differently so it may take longer than this. To allow for natural healing, we advise booking an appointment after any sun/swimming holidays. We also recommend booking an appointment after any special occasions or events.

Will it cause any scars/scarring?Healing time is approximately 4-6 weeks but everyone’s body heals differently so it is difficult to say the exact outcome. Depending on the treatment, a scab may form so it is important to not accidentally knock it off.

Will my lesion go away forever/permanently?We aim to treat any lesion professionally and thoroughly. However, we cannot guarantee that lesions do not come back of their own accord e.g. if it the cause is from being a virus.
