What are Syringomas?
Syringomas are harmless sweat duct tumours. They are skin coloured or yellowish firm, round bumps, and also 1 to 3mm in diameter. They are most often found in clusters on the eyelids, but can also appear elsewhere on the face, in the armpits, upper chest and vulva.
Who is affected by them?
They commonly start to appear in adolescence and are typically found in more women than men.
What causes them?
They are primarily caused by the overgrowth of cells which come from sweat glands.
At Appearances Aesthetics, we offer electrolysis to treat these.
